DELIVERY INFO

Our delivery team does their best to provide timely and accurate deliveries. The courier will deliver to the address as specified. To avoid any delays, please provide specific delivery instructions if the address is difficult to get to, or not clearly marked or numbered. 

Please note we require a contact phone number and or email address for the recipient. 

If nobody is home and it is safe to leave the delivery, the courier will do so and this will be considered as being delivered successfully. 

Please double check you have provided the correct (and current) address for the recipient, and that you have not made any typos when ordering online. Amber Lee Florist is not responsible for failed deliveries if incomplete or incorrect information was provided.

If the flowers can not be delivered the first time (nobody was home or not safe to leave) you will be charged an additional delivery fee. Amber Lee Florist will not cover the second delivery fee.

Absolutely! Select the delivery date you require on the calendar.

We understand that mistakes can happen! If you believe you have provided us with the wrong address, please contact us ASAP and we will do our best to help.

If the order has already gone out for delivery and you have given us an incorrect address, we can attempt to intercept the courier and have them re-deliver for you at an additional delivery fee. 

Please note, the courier will always deliver to the address as specified and if it is safe to leave, the courier will do so. This means that if the order has already been delivered to the address specified and we weren’t able to intercept and redirect the courier, we are not obliged to provide a refund.

Yes we can, however we need the appropriate information if you know there is a security gate code please acquire this for our courier. 

If the flowers are  unable to be delivered to the apartment or gated unit, you will be required to pay for a second delivery fee.

If you know the recipient will not be at home during the day, a work address may be a better option to ensure they receive the delivery with no issues. 

Yes we can, however It is Vital that we have the correct first and last name of the recipient. We will always do a courtesy call to the hospital before delivery to ensure that the patient can be located within the hospital. Your flowers will be delayed if the hospital is unable to locate the patient due to incorrect details

Please note that some hospital wards do not allow flowers due to health risks

 (eg Intensive care)

For hospital deliveries we alway recommend selecting a flower arrangement with its own water source. Eg Jardin, Vox or Wooden box arrangement.

Our courier delivers throughout the day so we can’t guarantee exact delivery times. 

If the flowers are for a event ( for example wedding, funeral, business function) you require a specific delivery time, we can organise this for you but you must give us 48 hours notice. There is an additional $10 fee over and above the delivery charge for this. 

We aim to have all school deliveries made by 3pm, all workplaces by 5pm and all residential addresses by 6pm.

Same  day delivery  Whangārei Inner city Saturday $30, Sunday $40

Rural Overnight delivery $30 Tuesday – Friday

North Island wide delivery $40 (provided the address is not considered rural by courier post, in which case it takes 1-3 working days

Yes – we still offer Saturday & Sunday delivery for local orders. Please place your order by midday Friday to ensure timely delivery.

Please note: We do not currently offer delivery to the South Island of New Zealand.

Sorry, we are not open on Public holidays.

If you are concerned that your order may not have been delivered, firstly please check your order confirmation that was emailed to you after placing your order online.

Check the date requested for delivery, and check the delivery address you provided was correct. 

Please confirm with your intended recipient that they haven’t received the delivery (and that it hasn’t been left by the courier at a side or back door of the property)

Ask them to check their mailbox for a “calling card”

Should the address be correct and the recipient has confirmed they haven’t received the delivery, please phone us and we will look into it further.

If the recipient was not at home when the courier attempted delivery, the courier driver will leave the flowers if it is safe, and if it does not seem safe they will take them back to Amber Lee Florist, either way our courier will always leave a calling card (usually in the letter box) saying where they were left and what time they were left. Or that they attempted to deliver but felt it was not safe to leave them and to contact Amber Lee Florist.
